EASYFW - Easy firewalling with iptables (Linux)

EASYFW ist eine einfache Möglichkeit iptables und ip6tables zu managen, welches auf den gängigen Linux-Systemen als Firewall zum Einsatz kommt. Es ist eine von mir erstellte Sofware, die ein Arbeiten mit iptables angenehmer gestaltet. Dieses Tutorial erklärt euch, wie ihr EASYFW verwenden könnt.

Help
====

Because of the symbolic links you have the possibility to execute all files from everywhere. The files are:
- fw4
- fw6
- fwhelp
- fwload
- fwrestore
- fwshow
- fwtail
They are stored in /opt/easyfw/. The sym links are stored in /usr/local/bin/.

fw4:
fw4 opens the text editor to configure the iptables rules in the file firewall4. The default configuration is block everything

fw6:
fw6 opens the text editor to configure the ip6tables rules in the file firewall6. The default configuration is block everything

fwhelp:
fwhelp is this help file here, I guess... ;-)

fwload:
fwload loads the configuration of firewall4 and firewall6 into iptables and ip6tables. Caution: It runs immediately.

fwrestore:
fwrestore loads the configuration of firewall4_default and firewall6_default into iptables and ip6tables. It is to restore the default iptables and ip6tables configuration without ANY rule. Caution: It runs immediately.

fwshow:
fwshow shows all chains of iptable and ip6table verbosely.

fwtail:
fwtail is a live log viewer. When you enabled logging actions in your chains you can see these in /var/log/syslog. fwtail only filters by using --log-prefix FWDrop: in your rule unless you change it in fwtail.
